Presenting a sculpted billiard table, Artist Daniel Romano set out to design an antique styled table with a modern feel. The character of antique styled tables is the separation of the pockets from the rails. Designing each element around the character of the early pool tables, applying his expertise in metal forming, then building a Modern element for the discerning. Sculpted from metal to produce a unique table with a striking presence, beauty and accurate play for generations to come. The antique style pockets are each hand made to evoke the industrial design aesthetic, and are lined with contemporary rubber pockets. Three piece Italian slate is set upon a V-Lam frame which is supported by sculpted steel legs. The rails frame the play area with smooth lines flowing from pocket to pocket, drawing the eye around the perimeter. All the rails are constructed from 1/8" steel plate, with inlay-ed polished steel sights. The rails are attached by a specifically designed bolting process and lamination adhesive that bonds the rails to our locally milled sub rails, with K-66 premium grade rail cushions. The results of this meticulous design and construction process is a steel table, artistically polished to reflect a hand worn finish, sheathed in high UV resistant powder coating, resulting in a smooth easy to clean surface.
