This piece of my work revolves around how we view physical limitation and the tools that help us move through the world. I see assistive devices not as symbols of restriction, but as powerful tools for liberation.

Inspired by the heroic pop-culture character who defends those in need, Walker Texas Ranger was built using my grandfather’s actual walker. By adding a Texas Ranger badge mounted on an Art Deco backplate, I wanted to elevate a familiar mobility tool into a customized symbol of strength, identity, and independence.
