BIG MAC: H48" W48" D9" WOOD, PAINT, ALUMINIUM
A comparison of the corporate fast-food culture, and gang violence, one an obvious threat to humans and our younger generation, the other more subtle threat, based on economics rather than healthy values. I chose to build the gun in a literal mirror image, and four times scale the size to the original configuration of a MAC11. Choosing the model and scale of the gun to represent more than face value, positioned in an as least threatening way. reflecting on the comparison, the MAC11 made only to expel as many projectiles as fast as possible with little control over the accuracy, the other based on consistency but the top priority being revenue generation.
