EYEBOX: (dimensions vary) average H2.5" W2" D2.5" formed metal, glass, resin , pigment
EYEBOX was originally a representation of a television that watched the viewer. But after the first pieces were made, obvious energy was present that felt more of a shared experience, some felt a connection to a higher state, others felt watched, others were frightened, the idea of the eye reflecting an inner view. As time went on and the experiences shared were so vast, I came to realize it is a study of conscience, that of the viewers. Of all my work, it is the single most significant work that enacts a response in the viewer almost instantly, which is voiced 90% of the time. The other viewers avoid the work as if it is evil as the fear they see in the work opposes them.
